ABC Celebrates Christmas and the Holiday Season, With a Party for All the Staff, at the Rosarito Convention Center
Last night, Saturday, December 17th, ABC Aluminum continued its 17 year-old tradition of holding a Christmas Party to celebrate the Season, and to say Thank You! to all the Management and Staff for all their hard work and commitment throughout the Year. ABC exhibits at Tijuana Innovadora at the World Trade Center in Tijuana November 3rd to November 10th
ABC has been a proud sponsor of, and participant in, Tijuana Innovadora, now in its fourth biennial year. The purpose behind this very popular Expo is to create an experience for all in Tijuana and the surrounding cities and towns to enjoy and learn from.
The Mayor of Tijuana Dr. Jorge Astiazarán and other Dignitaries attended a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony today, to formally open the new Bypass Road, a joint venture between ABC and the Municipal Government of Tijuana, that connects ABC’s Plant with the main Highway linking Tijuana and the Border to the north, and Rosarito and the Port of Ensenada and beyond, to the south.

Today, Wadih Kuri, President and CEO and Señor Jorge Kuri, together with Moises Guzman, CFO and Mauricio Villarreal, Plant Director, welcomed Dr. Jorge Astiazarán, the Mayor of Tijuana, and Señor Xavier Peniche, Tijuana’s Secretary of Economic Development, dignitaries, and their teams, who came to ABC’s main plant in the Santa Fe district of the city, on an official visit. A year ago, ABC purchased an additional seven acres of land adjacent to its 67 acres of property. The first building, completed earlier this year was to house the new Kautec Press. Now, we are pleased to announce, the adjacent building, approximating to 150,000 Sq. Ft. has been completed.
This project, a long time being planned, was finally completed this week. The groundwork required was exceptionally difficult because the terrain was largely undefined, and parallels a steep escarpment. The new road has been built to code, with barriers installed, street lighting, and full signage. Previously an unpaved gravel track-roadway, the new route, made possible by this investment, connects directly to the main road from Tijuana to Rosarito and beyond; and importantly, enables all transport to the plant to redirect … Continue reading
