At ABC Aluminum Solutions we have developed ABC’s Super Green Aluminum program to align our company with the UN’s global sustainability goals for 2030 aiming all aluminum production endeavors with a comprehensive carbon footprint reduction while improving the quality of our end product.
ABC’s Super Green Aluminum Program
- Makes our profile manufacturing even more efficient.
- Increases our recycling rates.
- It improves waste disposal management
- CO2 emissions in metric tons for each ton of aluminum produced will be reduced in the future. 2025: 35% 2030: 50%.
- Will enable us to obtain the Official EPD Environmental Declaration for all our products.
Specialized machinery
- Pre-shredder: Decompacts aluminum bales
- Magnetic separators: Removes metal pieces mixed with aluminum.
- Shredder: Shreds and cuts the aluminum into pieces of about 6 cm.
- Trommel: Separates aluminum scraps larger than 6 cm and returns them to the shredder.
- Eddie Curren: Separates non-metallic materials.
- Tomra: Determines aluminum alloy quality through photographs.
