ABC Aluminum Solutions has this week been nominated as ‘Mill of the Year, 2013’.
The nomination was in response to Metal Bulletin having reached out to ABC following their research of the industry throughout the world. ABC also was nominated for a second category ‘Industry Rising Star’.
A dedicated panel of industry experts will judge the awards, which will be announced in August. The judges will evaluate nominations using a point-based qualitative approach to determine the overall winners. The nomination and judging processes are audited by and in full compliance with Euromoney Institutional Investor plc guidelines and standards to ensure integrity and objectivity.
“The awards for aluminum excellence will recognize excellent upstream and downstream companies, innovation and performance in the aluminum industry.” said Raju Daswani, Metal Bulletin’s managing director.
Metal Bulletin has been for over 100 years the primary news publication for a number of the key metals including steel and aluminum. These awards in particular are for the aluminum industry and the winners will be announced and celebrated at a gala dinner at the Intercontinental in Geneva, Switzerland, on September 18th.
