ABC HAS GREAT SUCCESS WITH ITS DECORAL RANGE OF WOOD AND DECORATIVE FINISHES

In 2013, ABC invested with Decoral to supply alternative finishes for extrusions, including wood and – and with the capability of attaching all the various Decoral decorative finishes now available. At trade shows it has become evident that in Europe, but increasingly across North America, wood finishes for many products that incorporate aluminum, are becoming increasingly popular – as an example, large garden umbrellas have an aluminum stem, but finished to look like wood; and now architects are specifying for decking, fascias, and soffits etc. as aluminum is so much more durable and requires no maintenance over the years.

These images show the system in action, and extrusions up to 10 inches can be coated in this way at ABC’s state-of-the-art plant. And compared with wood, not only is the finish lifelike, its durability more than pays for itself with very low maintenance over even a short period of time.

The effect and appearance is extremely elegant; ABC just completed the supply of fascias and soffits is for a major flagship architectural project in Carmel Valley, California.

Wadih Kuri, President and CEO, said today “we are extremely pleased to have been selected by one of the key architects and construction firms in Southern California for their “Merge” Project. The Decoral finishes have really beautified the appearance of this prestigious development. We look forward to working again with this architect, and their lead contractor, and others, to help make this technology transformative.”
