ABC Enters Competition In the Category of Large Industrial Exporter To Win Mexico’s Premier and Prestigious Award Given to the Company Assessed to be Mexico’s Most Successful Exporter

Entries are to be completed by the end of June and will be submitted by Mexico’s most successful and prominent companies. The Mexican government established a Foundation that annually determines the most outstanding export-achiever in the country. Twelve categories cover industrial, agribusiness, commerce (trading) and service industries

The Export Merit Award is the highest recognition given to companies, institutions and organizations. Factors assessed include effort, perseverance, creativity and quality. Also taken into account is a company’s ability to compete and to increase and diversify its sale of goods and services abroad.

Wadih Kuri, President and CEO said today “this is the first year we have submitted an entry. As a company, we have over the past eight years innovated and grown exponentially to the point where the scale of our operations ranks us as probably the largest privately held manufacturing business in the State. 90 percent of our manufacturing is exported to the U.S. and Canada, much of which ultimately fills the shelves of Home Depot and Lowes. Though increasingly, we also serve the premium end of the construction, solar, and automotive industries. A further 5% is shipped as far away as Australia.

Leadership is of course important in having made this happen, but nothing would have been achieved without the dedication and hard work of our nearly 2000 employees. I would like us to win if only for all of them to realize how important, recognized and appreciated, their commitment and application of discipline and skills is, and how they have made a difference: for ABC, but also their country”.
