When the current crisis began, every employee received a medical review. Those involved, for example, with pregnancy, or who had a preexisting condition such as heart or diabetes – essentially anyone at risk, were sent home on paid leave, which continues. All employees received reassurance that no one would lose their job, and they haven’t.
In fact, it is pleasing to report that recently ABC has stepped up its active hiring campaign, with an incentive bonus offered to every current employee who refers a successful candidate.
