ABC gives every child of an employee a gift card. The money is to be used to assist in the purchase of items of school uniform, writing and drawing supplies, books and other sundry items.
In past years, ABC has provided donations and assistance to the local community’s children. This year, the gift card concept has been introduced, allowing more freedom of choice and flexibility, and the program has been significantly ramped up to provide increased and additional benefits to parents with school-aged children and those at college.
Over 500 employees benefitted, and the money could be used flexibly, depending upon their child’s needs.
