This press is the third to be added within five years, the first being an SMS-Meer 10 inch, the second a Presezzi 8 inch, and now a Kautec 7 inch. Each of these presses, including the Kautec, have been installed in purpose-built structures that house not just the press in each case, but also state-of-the-art control systems, run-out tables with Kevlar rollers, dual-pullers, and stretchers. Plus ovens to temper the aluminum extrusions to specification, and all ancillary equipment.

ABC’s existing seven inch press has been operating at maximum capacity for many months now, and it has been a great workhorse – but in 2016, and with our volume of orders and customer expectations for responsive delivery, the new press is operational not a day too soon.
